• What is TNSPRA?

TNSPRA at NSPRA 2021The Tennessee School Public Relations Association (TNSPRA) is the Tennessee state chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). The TNSPRA organization has three regions: West, Middle and Eastern.

While the membership in TNSPRA is primarily composed of school communication practitioners from public school districts, members can also include superintendents, principals, secretaries, education association staff, board of education members and others who work to gain public confidence in education.

Like its parent organization, TNSPRA is dedicated to providing citizens with a better understanding of the objectives, accomplishments and needs of the schools within our communities.

As a TNSPRA member, you'll be joining a statewide network of school PR professionals who are available to provide support, ideas, and fellowship. We'll connect you with a Regional Director who will facilitate conversations and connect you with colleagues in your area of the state. TNSPRA membership also comes with access to a number of resources and strategies that will help you enhance and improve your communication goals, including:

    • Receive regular information about school PR opportunities and job postings.
    • Participate in our conferences – where experts in school communications and marketing will provide guidance and tools for school districts throughout Tennessee.
    • Enjoy networking, mentorshipand professional development opportunities with school public relations professionals.
