  • Jack Cobb

    TNSPRA President

    Jack joined Maury County Public Schools at the beginning of 2020 and has been a member of TNSPRA since that time. Jack worked in corporate communications for Saturn/GM from 1999 to 2016. Jack is a one-person communications department for 23 schools and over 13,000 students. His indirect team includes web and social media admins at each school. 

    Collin Brooks

    TNSPRA President-Elect

    Collin joined Johnson City Schools at the beginning of the 2017 school year and has been a member of TNSPRA since that time. After being nominated by his coworkers, Collin was selected to NSPRA's 35 under 35 class in the 2022-2023 school year.

    Brooke Davis

    TNSPRA Treasurer/Secretary

    Brooke began working in the Williamson County School District in 2009. She moved to the District offices in 2022, joined TNSPRA in 2023, and was elected secretary and treasurer. Brooke is currently the Communications Manager, serving over 42,000 students and 52 schools. 

    Maria Greene, Ed.S.

    TNSPRA VP of Membership 

    Maria Greene, Ed.S, serves as Communications and Special Projects Coordinator for Maryville City Schools. 

    Kate Crowder

    TNSPRA VP of Personal Development

    Kate joined Germantown Municipal School District in 2015 and has been a member of TNSPRA since that time.  Kate is a one-person communications department.  

    Tyler Hill

    TNSPRA West Tennessee At Large Member

    Tyler joined Arlington Community Schools in 2018 and has been a member of TNSPRA since that time. He also served as TNSPRA President from 2019-2021. Tyler was selected to NSPRA's 35 under 35 class in the 2020-2021 school year after being nominated by fellow TNSPRA colleagues.

    Ryan Sutton

    TNSPRA East Tennessee At Large Member

    Ryan has been the communication and public relations coordinator for Anderson County Schools since 2018. In his role with ACS, he oversees school system communications in all forms including: social media, public relations, mass communications, crisis/safety communication, district website administrator, marketing, and media relations. In addition to overseeing the districts communications, Ryan is also the station administrator for Anderson County Television (ACTV). ACTV is an education and government channel available on Comcast, AT&T U-verse, and streaming live 24/7 at www.AndersonCounty.tv.  ACTV covers all government municipality meetings in Anderson County excluding Oak Ridge City.  Ryan produces a large variety of programing for ACTV such as: Live sports, musicals, concerts, award ceremonies, parades, gameshows, and art tutorial shows for adults and children.  

    Since starting in his position with Anderson County Schools in 2018, ACS has become the most visible school system in the Knoxville news market.  With all the additional attention being drawn to the school district, national news took notice.  ACS has been featured on the national news twice on the Today show and NBC Nightly News.
    Ryan’s educational background includes a bachelor of arts in both speech communication and broadcasting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a masters degree in school supervision and leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.
    The true light of Ryan’s life are his 2 kids. Jackson, a Pokemon card playing champion and a Pickle-ball prodigy, and Alyssa Kate, his singing redheaded firecracker. Ryan is also a lifelong Trekkie and loves all things Star Trek, so forewarning if you start talking to him about Star Trek he won’t stop. 

    James Evans APR

    TNSPRA APR Advisor

    James serves as the Chief Communications Officer for Rutherford County Schools, the fourth largest school district in Tennessee with 51,000 students and 50 schools. He began working for RCS in 2004 after working as a print reporter and editor in Middle Tennessee. He joined TNSPRA for the collaboration opportunities with other like-minded professionals throughout Tennessee school districts. He has previously served as president of TNSPRA. James earned his Accreditation in Public Relations in 2017 and now serves as the TNSPRA APR advisor.
